THE Business School Register

The first global directory of verified business schools

In an increasingly competitive global economy, the role of business education has never been more crucial.

With over 16,000 institutions teaching business globally, the landscape is vast and varied. Yet, beyond the business schools that are globally accredited, there is no systematic way of verifying the other thousands of schools from around the world.

THE Business School Register, powered by Poets&Quants, brings together the world’s business schools. Creating a space where schools can showcase their strengths and engage with the broader academic and business communities.

Helping the different stakeholders, including students, faculty and alumni, to make more informed choices.

For far too long, many of the world’s business schools have failed to receive the recognition and visibility they deserve.

Less than 1% of the world’s 16,000 business schools are ranked, while less than 10% are accredited by one of the three major business education accreditation bodies. THE Register is our effort to showcase schools that deserve greater visibility and recognition.

Many of these schools are helping to democratize higher education, making degree programs more accessible and more affordable to students.

Beyond teaching business and management programs what are the crucial elements to establish and maintain a business school?

THE Register recognises business schools that meet the foundational academic and structural components for what it takes to deliver a consistent standard of education.

A member school should be able to report on areas such as institutional autonomy, resources, academic standing and career outcomes.

What is a business school?
